What are dog tags? 

Dog tags are the common name for military ID tags. They are used by military personnel for identification and to specify other details such as blood type and religion. Traditionally dog tags come in sets of two with identical information on each of the tags.

What are silencers for?

Silencers are the elastic pieces of rubber that fit around the edge of your dog tags. Their military purpose is to prevent the tags from "clinking" together thereby limiting noise in the field. The standard military issue is black however we have different colours of silencers for you to choose from.

Are these real military dog tags?

Yes - We use the same machinery and buy our tags from the same manufacturer that supplies the United States military. What they wear is exactly what you will wear.

What can I have stamped on my dog tags?

You can personalize the text to say whatever you like. The most popular format is Military Style. Other popular tags are Medical Alert and also reproductions from movies. Take a look at our sample tags page for ideas.

What characters are allowed on my tag?

1 character space = a letter, a number, a space, or a punctuation mark. You can either have the same message on both tags; or a different message on each tag.

Are dog tags suitable for small children?

As the tag sets contain small parts, they pose a choking hazard and as such are not suitable for small children, infants, or toddlers. Pleas use your own dissection when buying tags for younger children.

How will my item be shipped?

All orders are shipped via An Post's Registered Packet service from our facility in Wexford, Ireland. Your item should be delivered within 1-2 weeks for all destinations.

Can you make a large quantity of dog tags for my group?

For orders of 50 or more we offer a discounted rate. Please contact us before ordering so that we can send you a bulk tag order spreadsheet.
